on twinpics.ai

Twin Pics shows everyone the same picture each day and gives you one try to describe it in up to 100 characters. An AI image generator turns your words into a new picture, and the game scores how closely it matches the original from 0 to 100. After you play, it reveals the secret prompt that made the original.
About Twin Pics
Twin Pics is a daily browser game about describing pictures precisely. Each day has a numbered Daily Pic, made by an AI image generator from a secret prompt and often drawn in a named art style, such as a tile mosaic, a woodblock print or a watercolour. It is made by Chris Sev, and its count passed 1,000 days in 2026.
You get one try a day. You write a description of up to 100 characters, press Create Image, and the game sends your words to an image generator, shows you the picture it made and compares it with the original, giving a similarity score from 0 to 100. Once you have played, the secret prompt is revealed, so you can see which words you missed.
The skill is fitting the right words into a short space: naming the subject is not enough, you also need the style, the colours, the setting and the layout. Results can be unpredictable, which is part of the fun. The home page shows how many people have played that day and a leaderboard of a few highlighted twins, chosen afresh every two hours, and you can keep a streak and share your twin.
The daily play is free and needs no account. A Plus plan ($39 a year) lets you replay the daily as often as you like, though only your first play counts on the leaderboard. Teachers can create free classrooms that students join with just a nickname and run live games; a Teacher plan ($59 a year) adds unlimited plays for students and progress reports. It suits players who like wordplay with a creative twist, and teachers looking for a short exercise in descriptive writing and AI literacy.

Tips
- Start with the art style, such as 'Mosaic art:' or 'Woodblock print:'; it changes the result more than small details.
- Name the main subject plainly and what it is doing before anything else.
- With only 100 characters, drop small details and keep the colours and the setting.
