Turdle
Rate itWordle for dirty minds: guess the day's rude or slang word in six tries.
on turdle.scritch.net

Turdle is a joke take on Wordle where the daily answer is a silly, rude or slang word. You get six tries with green, yellow and grey letters, and each guess earns a snarky remark. The first solvers can post a line using the word, and Recent turds shows past words with those lines.
About Turdle
Turdle calls itself a daily word game for sarcastic dirty minds, and warns that it contains potty humour. The play is Wordle's: type a word of the day's length, submit it, and each letter turns green if it is in the right place, yellow if it is in the word elsewhere and grey if it is not there at all. You get six tries, and the on-screen keyboard marks the letters you have used with a small poop emoji.
The answers are where it differs. Instead of everyday dictionary words, the day's word is something stupid, crude or slang, such as SMUT or DERPY, and its length changes from day to day between four and five letters. The words come in turn from a bank of 400, so one comes back only after about 13 months. After each guess the game answers with a sarcastic line that also tells you how many other players tried the same word.
The twist is the board. When you solve the puzzle you can leave a message that uses the word, ordered by who solved first, and the Recent turds panel lists the last few days' words with those messages. The site shows how many players tried each day's word and how many solved it, and you can share your result. It is free with no sign-up, with a text ad link across the top and an optional five-dollar tip button. Adults who like Wordle and do not mind crude jokes are the audience.
