TuneTwist rewrites five song titles each day by swapping their words for synonyms, so Wrecking Ball becomes Demolition Sphere. You type the real title with as many guesses as you like, then name the artist and the release year. Two hints per song cost points, and a song solved cleanly with artist and year earns a star.
About TuneTwist
TuneTwist is a daily wordplay game about songs. Each day it takes five well-known song titles and replaces some or all of their words with synonyms while keeping the structure, so Shape of You turns into Form of You. Your job is to work back from the twisted version to the real title.
Each song card shows a genre and decade tag, such as Rock from the 1960s, above the twisted title. On 29 October 2026 the first card read Directions, tagged Pop from the 2010s, and the answer was Maps by Maroon 5. The rules page sets the day out as an easy title, two medium ones, a hard one and a fifth that is a throwback or a TikTok-era hit. Guesses are unlimited and forgiving. Capitals, punctuation, small words like the and of, and minor typos are not held against you.
A title solved without help is worth 800 points. Each song has two hints, and each one you open takes 200 off. In our game the first hint was a line from the song and the second named the artist. A Reveal button gives the answer if you are truly stuck. Once the title is in, you guess the artist and the year for 100 points each, so a song can reach 1,000 and a day 5,000. A song with no hints and the right artist and exact year earns a star, up to five a day. The solved card then shows the album cover and a button to play a snippet of the track.
A new set arrives at midnight, and every past day since 13 April 2026 can be played from the archive. Song Packs offer the same idea sorted by artist, with no daily limit, starting with a Taylor Swift pack of 11 songs. There is no sign-up and no advertising on the game. It suits music fans who like puns and wordplay as much as listening.
How to play TuneTwist

Tips
- Say the twisted title out loud and listen for a familiar rhythm. The word count and structure stay the same.
- Use the genre and decade tag to narrow the field before you guess.
- Short connecting words are kept, so they anchor where the swapped words sit.
- Only an exact year earns the star, though the game shows a year one off as close.
