TheOfficedle Classic board, puzzle #115: guesses Andy Bernard, Kevin Malone and Michael Scott with gender, department, branch, season debut, job and relationship clues in green and red

TheOfficedle is a free daily guessing game for fans of the US version of The Office. In Classic mode you name a character and each guess shows how its gender, department, branch, first season, job title and relationship status compare with the answer; the Quote and Emoji modes give you a line or a set of emojis instead. New puzzles come every day at midnight UTC.

About TheOfficedle

TheOfficedle is an unofficial fan game made by Lance Lanting, not affiliated with NBCUniversal. It brings the character-guessing -dle format to Dunder Mifflin: each day has a numbered puzzle, the same for every player, with a streak counter and a countdown to the next one.

There are three daily modes. In Classic you type a character's name and the game compares it with the answer attribute by attribute, marking each one as an exact match, a partial match (departments and branches that overlap, or a relationship status one step away on the ladder from single to married to divorced), or a miss, with arrows pointing toward the right season. Guesses are unlimited. In Quote you name the character who said the day's line, and in Emoji you work out the character from a set of emojis.

A Practice mode shows a calendar of every past daily since the first one on 4 July 2026, and any of them can be replayed without touching your streak or stats. The game suits anyone who has watched the series more than once and knows the background characters as well as Michael, Dwight, Jim and Pam.

How to play TheOfficedle

  1. Open TheOfficedle and pick a mode: Classic, Quote or Emoji.
  2. In Classic, type a character's name and press Guess.
  3. Read the colours: green for an exact match, orange for partial, red for a miss, with arrows for the season.
  4. Keep guessing until you find the character, then play the Quote and Emoji puzzles.

Tips

  • Relationship status is judged at the end of the series, not in any one episode.
  • Branch and department clues narrow the field fastest: Scranton sales has the most candidates.
  • Use the season arrow to rule out characters who joined later or earlier.
