The Daily Puzzle is a free phone app from Typosaurus designed like a newspaper's puzzle page. Each day brings a new dated edition with a set of word, number and logic puzzles, from a coloured nonogram and a word wheel to Perfect Fit shape packing, and a streak counts the days you come back. It shows ads, which a paid upgrade removes.
About The Daily Puzzle (Typosaurus Games)
The Daily Puzzle opens on a front page that looks like a printed newspaper, with the day's date under the masthead, your current streak and a tile for each of today's puzzles. Tick them off one by one; a finished puzzle gets a check mark on its tile.
The front page in the store pictures holds about eight puzzles: Triads (find sets among shapes), Circuits (join the dots into paths), Honeycomb (make words from seven letters), Word Wheel (spell words from a circle of letters into a small crossword), a coloured Nonogram that reveals a picture, Perfect Fit (pack every shape into the frame), Word Search and either Letter Grid or a bonus puzzle. Sudoku, Cryptogram, Nine Letter, Tectonic and number challenges also turn up. Beyond the daily edition the app holds more than 12,000 puzzles, and seasonal events such as an autumn challenge come and go.
Typosaurus released the app in 2022 for iPhone and iPad, and it is also on Google Play; it was still being updated in October 2026. It plays in English, Danish, German, Spanish, French and Swedish. The game is free and shows ads between puzzles; a paid purchase removes them, and coins earned by solving pay for hints. Its website also has browser pages for several of the puzzles.
It suits players who want the variety of a newspaper's puzzle page in one daily sitting, rather than a single word or logic game.

Tips
- Start with the quick word puzzles, then give the nonogram the most time: it is usually the biggest grid of the day.
- Hints cost coins, which you earn by solving, so keep them for the puzzle that stalls you.
- In Word Wheel, the dots under each letter show how many times it appears in the crossword, which narrows the words you need.
