Swervle's race of 19 October 2026 under way: a yellow boxy car on a dark road between orange barriers and green hills, with the timer at 0:10.700

Swervle is a daily racing game in the browser. Every day a seed builds a new track through woods, desert or highlands, and everyone races the same one. Take as many attempts as you like; your best time counts on the day's leaderboard, and past tracks stay open to race again.

About Swervle

Swervle puts one short race track online each day. The track is generated from a daily seed, so the terrain and setting change from day to day, through forest, desert or highland, while every player drives the same course. The map changes at midnight US Central Time, and the game has run a new track every day since July 2026.

You drive a small boxy car with weighty physics, aiming to pass every checkpoint and cross the finish line as fast as you can. Grip changes with the surface, so ice slides and dirt is loose. Ramps send you off faster than you hit them, and the handbrake decides whether you take a corner cleanly or spin out. A good run on a day's track takes about half a minute.

You can retry as often as you like, and only your best time counts. The day-of board locks at midnight Central time, while an all-time board keeps taking later attempts, and old tracks stay open in Past Races. Pick a racer on the leaderboard to race their ghost, which shows their line without getting in your way. Times are checked on the server.

It plays in the browser with no install and no account needed to try it. On a computer you drive with the keyboard; on a phone, buttons for steering, gas, brake and handbrake sit on the screen. Signing in keeps your name and results across devices and lets you paint your car in the garage. The daily race is free, with optional vehicle packs and a monthly supporter tier, and a banner ad shows in the menu between runs. A Steam version is listed as coming soon.

It suits anyone who likes short time trials and the pull of a daily leaderboard.

How to play Swervle

  1. Open Swervle and press Race Now to start today's track.
  2. Accelerate with W or the up arrow and steer with A and D; on a phone use the on-screen Gas, Brake and arrow buttons.
  3. Use Space or the Handbrake button to swing through tight corners.
  4. Pass every checkpoint and cross the finish line; press R to go back to the last checkpoint if you crash, with the clock still running.
  5. Press F to restart and try for a faster time; your best one goes on the leaderboard.

Tips

  • Learn the track on a slow first lap, then push on later attempts.
  • Watch the surface: ice and dirt have less grip, so brake earlier on them.
  • Pick a fast racer on the leaderboard to race their ghost and copy their line.
  • If the game feels choppy, turn on graphics acceleration in your browser or lower Graphics in Settings; the physics stay the same.
