Survivordle is a daily guessing game for fans of the TV show Survivor. Each day at midnight Eastern a castaway is picked from every season of the show, and you have eight guesses to find them, with each guess showing how close it is on season, finishing place, tribe colour, age, gender and returnee status.
About Survivordle
Survivordle was made by Charlie Hart, a Survivor fan, as a daily puzzle for the show's community. Every day at midnight Eastern Time the game picks one castaway from the show's full history, from Borneo to the most recent season, and everyone gets the same one.
You type the name of any castaway, along with the season you mean, since many have played more than once. The game then fills a row of columns. Season and placement turn green for an exact match and orange when close, within two seasons or three places, with an arrow pointing toward the answer. Tribe colour, taken from the Survivor Wiki, is green or grey, and other columns cover age, gender and whether the castaway ever returned to play again. You have eight tries; if you are stuck, a give-up button reveals the answer and counts as a loss.
The stats page shows your streak, win rate and guess spread, how hard the community found the day's puzzle, and the most common opening guesses. Around the daily game sit an archive of past days, an unlimited mode with random castaways, the Recall and Sandwich modes, a blog on the data behind the game and a separate Big Brother edition.
It suits Survivor fans who know the cast lists season by season.
How to play Survivordle
- Open survivordle.com and type the name of any Survivor castaway, choosing the season you mean.
- Read the row of clues: green means an exact match, orange means close, grey means wrong.
- Follow the arrows on season and placement to see whether the answer is earlier or later, and placed higher or lower.
- Use tribe colour, age, gender and returnee status to narrow the field.
- Find the castaway within eight guesses, then share your result and come back after midnight Eastern.
Tips
- Open with a mid-era castaway who placed in the middle of the pack; their arrows split the field in both directions.
- Season clues are orange within two seasons, so an orange season already narrows the answer to a handful of seasons.
- Returnee status reflects a castaway's whole history, not the season you picked.
- Use the archive or unlimited mode to practise without breaking your daily streak.
