Today's Stardewdle board: the grid of crop icons with two guesses, Cherry and Sunflower, scored by growth, price, regrow, type and season

Stardewdle is a daily guessing game about the crops of Stardew Valley. You pick a crop from a grid and see how its type, selling price, growth time, regrowth and seasons compare with the hidden crop, with six tries to find it.

About Stardewdle

Stardewdle was released in May 2025 by two fans, Chris and Omar, and has been updated steadily since. Each day at midnight UTC a new crop is chosen, and a crop that has just been used cannot come up again for a week. Instead of typing, you choose your guess from a grid of crop icons.

Each guess fills a row of feedback: an exact match, a partial match or an incorrect value, with arrows showing whether the correct number is higher or lower. The attributes follow the Stardew Valley Wiki, in five columns: growth time, base selling price, whether the crop regrows, crop type and the seasons it grows in. The site explains its edge cases, such as using only the first harvest of regrowing crops.

An optional hint system filters the grid based on your earlier guesses, and you choose which hints to see. A Custom Disable pencil lets you rule out crops by hand. There are statistics with a guess distribution, a Collections page with every crop's details and how often it has been the daily crop, and a Minigame Bundles page with daily cooking, villager, fishing and geology games, each with its own rules. Art and sounds are credited to ConcernedApe.

The pool holds 72 crops, so with the one-week rule each crop has come up a handful of times since launch; the Collections page counts how often. The site shows how many people solved today's crop, and the game is laid out for a phone held upright as well as a desktop.

How to play Stardewdle

  1. Pick a crop from the grid as your first guess.
  2. Read the row of feedback: exact match, partial match or incorrect, with arrows for higher or lower numbers.
  3. Hover over the season icons if you need the season names.
  4. Use hints or the Custom Disable pencil to narrow the grid, and find the crop within six tries.
  5. Come back after midnight UTC for the next crop.

Tips

  • Start with a crop that grows in more than one season to learn about seasons quickly.
  • Selling price and growth time arrows cut the grid fast: aim for a middle value first.
  • Check the Collections page before guessing if you are unsure about a crop's stats.
  • A crop chosen in the past week will not be the answer.
