Blackmythdle

Blackmythdle is a fan-made guessing game for Black Myth: Wukong, Game Science's action RPG built on Journey to the West. Each day it picks one of the game's bosses, and everyone is looking for the same one.

You start by typing a boss's name. The guess comes back as a row of nine tiles: the map the boss is fought on, its type, difficulty, HP, whether it has two phases, whether it is hidden, and its weaknesses, resistances and immunities. Green is a match, yellow a partial match on the attributes that hold several values, and red a miss; for difficulty and HP an arrow says whether the answer is higher or lower. There is no limit on guesses, and if you get stuck the boss's weakness is shown after six tries and its difficulty after nine.

The page shows yesterday's answer and how many players found it, and a list of every boss in the game sits a click away. It suits players who have fought their way through the chapters and want a quick daily test of how well they remember who waits where.
