Rondo (RTÉ)

Rondo, with the tagline Link Your Letters, is a word game on RTÉ Games, the games section of Ireland's public broadcaster. The rte.ie games page frames the game, which runs on a gamesgrid.gg page. Its home screen offers three modes: the Daily Puzzle, Sudden Death and a Campaign.

The Daily Puzzle gives you seven letters in a ring. You draw a line from letter to letter, in any direction, to spell a word of two or more letters, and each word you find fills a slot in the list below, grouped by length. A counter at the top shows how many of the day's words you have found (0 of 30 on the day checked, from two to four letters) and a clock shows how long you have taken. The day's letters are worked out from the date, so every player has the same puzzle on the same day, and a new one comes each day.

If you get stuck, Use Hint traces one of the missing words on the ring for you; there are three hint charges. Sudden Death gives you 90 seconds to find as many words as you can, and the Campaign has 50 levels of increasing difficulty. Rondo is free to play, with a banner advert above the game.
