Receipt Please!

on receipt-please.com

Receipt Please! puts you at the exit of a fictional wholesale warehouse as the receipt checker. Each day brings the same five carts for every player: turn each 3D cart around, compare its products and quantities with the receipt, and approve it or flag a mismatch before the 90 seconds run out.
About Receipt Please!
Receipt Please! is a free browser game about the receipt check at the door of a big warehouse store. You stand at the exit lane of the fictional Receipt Please Wholesale, a shopper's cart in front of you and their receipt beside it. Your job is to say whether the two match.
The daily shift is five carts with 90 seconds of checking time for all of them. The cart is drawn in 3D: drag it to turn it all the way round, tilt it, look from above or zoom in, because packages hide behind each other. The receipt lists each product with its size and quantity and the total number of packages. The carts get fuller as the shift goes on, and the upper compartment and the lower rack count as well as the basket. Look for an extra item, a missing one, or a package that looks right but carries a different label or size. Click the right half of the receipt to approve or the left half to flag, then see the differences revealed before the next cart.
A correct call scores 100 points, a wrong or unanswered one scores nothing, and every whole second left at the end adds a bonus point. Everyone gets the same carts on the same UTC date, and one completed daily result is kept per browser. Finishing the shift unlocks an endless mode with three hearts and 20 seconds a cart, and practice shifts can be played as often as you like.
The game is made by a small independent studio and says it is inspired by the receipt checks shoppers know from Costco, without being linked to it. It plays without an account or download on phones, tablets and computers, needs a browser with WebGL for the 3D cart, and suits anyone who likes spot-the-difference puzzles with a clock running.
How to play Receipt Please!
- Select Start daily shift to begin the day's five carts, or Practice for an unscored shift.
- Drag the cart, or use the rotate and tilt buttons, to see every package from every side.
- Compare each product, its size and its quantity with the lines on the receipt, and check the total package count.
- Click the right half of the receipt to approve a cart that matches, or the left half to flag a mismatch.
- Look over the revealed differences, then select Next cart until all five are done.
- Finish the shift to unlock endless mode, where each cart has 20 seconds and every wrong or missed call costs one of three hearts.

Tips
- Count the packages first: a total that does not match the receipt settles the call at once.
- Turn the cart and look from above before approving, since small items hide behind large boxes.
- Read sizes as well as names: a lookalike package with a different size or label is a mismatch.
- Time left over becomes bonus points, so make a quick call on a cart that is plainly wrong.
- Check the child seat compartment and the rack under the basket, since packages there count too.
