Maze Of Rooms on BrainBashers is a light daily maze. A mouse sits in a grid of rooms; each click on a mouse sends mice into other rooms, and you choose which one to follow until one finds the cheese. Wrong turns cost an attempt, and the page counts them.
About Maze Of Rooms (BrainBashers)
Maze Of Rooms is one of the gentler daily items on Kevin Stone's BrainBashers. The board is a square grid of empty rooms with a grey mouse in one of them. Somewhere in the grid a piece of cheese is waiting, and the one rule is to keep clicking a mouse until you find it in the final room.
Each click on a mouse clears it and shows one or more mice in other rooms, so the maze branches as you go. You pick which mouse to follow next. Some branches lead on toward the cheese, others end in a surprise, and then you start again. The counter under the grid shows the date, the size and your attempt number, with restart and new buttons beside it.
Each day brings four mazes that grow with the difficulty: 3x3 and 4x4 at Easy, 5x5 at Medium and 6x6 at Hard, with a 7x7 weekly special. Random buttons give extra mazes at each level, and Kevin Stone has also made a single 8x8 maze that, in his words, might take more than one attempt.
Like every daily item on the site, the mazes change at midnight GMT or at the time zone you set, and the date list keeps about the last four weeks. BrainBashers shows no adverts and needs no account.
It is a short, playful break between the site's heavier logic grids, and a good memory test: the fewer attempts you need, the better you remembered the dead ends.
How to play Maze Of Rooms (BrainBashers)
- Open the Daily Maze Of Rooms page and pick one of today's sizes.
- Click the mouse; it leaves its room and one or more mice appear in other rooms.
- Choose which mouse to click next and keep following the branch you picked.
- If a branch ends in a surprise, press restart and try another route; the attempt counter goes up.
- Reach the room with the cheese to finish, and come back after midnight GMT for new mazes.

Tips
- Start with the 3x3 to see how the mice branch before trying the 6x6 Hard.
- Remember which mouse you followed at each fork so you do not repeat a dead end on the next attempt.
- Try the 8x8 bonus maze or the Random buttons when the daily ones feel easy.
