Majority #52, 22 October 2026, prompt 1 of 5 in the Money category: Fill in the blank: My ____ is the reason I'm broke, with a Type your guess box

Majority the Game is a daily guessing game about predicting the crowd. Each day brings five prompts; instead of giving your own answer, you type the one you think most players typed, and you score by landing on the majority.

About Majority the Game

Majority the Game asks five short questions a day, each with a category and an icon: which animal would win a popularity contest, what ruins a vacation the fastest, what country comes to mind first when you hear 'Africa'. The trick is in the scoring. You are not rewarded for being clever or right, but for matching what everyone else said, so 'dog' beats 'peacock' and the obvious answer is usually the smart one.

After each guess the game shows how much of the crowd agreed with you, with a little room of cartoon players lighting up, and reveals the ranked list of popular answers with their percentages. The game also hands out daily awards for the funniest, most creative or most unhinged answers.

Each day's deck is numbered, counted from #1 on 1 September 2026, and past days back to the first can be played from a date picker. After the daily five, a Guess the percentage mode (added in October 2026) puts the majority answer on the card and asks how big a share it got. Players can leave a reaction face on answers, and a streak counter marks each day you come back. You can also write five questions of your own and share them as a link; friends play whenever they like and the board fills in as they answer. The game is free with no account; the home page links to the maker's other daily game, Centumth.

It suits anyone who enjoys Family Feud style survey questions, party games about reading the room, or a short daily game that is more about people than knowledge.

How to play Majority the Game

  1. Open the site and press Play today's to deal the day's five cards.
  2. Read the prompt and its category tag, then type the answer you think most other players gave, not necessarily your own favourite.
  3. Wording counts: write it the way the room would, in the plainest form of the word.
  4. See what share of the crowd matched you and the ranked list of popular answers.
  5. Finish all five, check your score and share it, then try Guess the percentage or a past day.

Tips

  • Go for the first, most obvious answer: the most common response usually wins by a wide margin.
  • Use the simplest form of a word ('dog' rather than 'golden retriever') so your answer groups with others.
  • Think about who is playing: a broad online audience, not your particular friends.
  • Look at the revealed answer lists to learn how the crowd thinks for later days.
