Jingle is a daily music game for Old School RuneScape. Each day you hear five tracks from the game and drop a pin on the world map where you think each one plays; closer pins score more, and your total is ranked against everyone else who played that day. A practice mode gives you unlimited songs.
About Jingle
Jingle is a fan-made daily game for players of Old School RuneScape, made by mahloola, FunOrange and Kunito Moe. Every area of the game's world has its own music track, unlocked as you walk into it, and long-time players come to know where each tune belongs. Jingle turns that into a test: it plays a track and you drop a pin on the world map where you think it plays.
The Daily Jingle is a set of five tracks, the same for everyone that day. For each one you listen, pan and zoom around a full map of the game world (including underground areas and dungeons), place your pin and confirm it. The closer the pin is to where the track actually plays, the higher the score, up to 1,000 points a track and 5,000 for the day. The daily draws from the same bank of 544 tracks the practice mode uses. At the end you see your total, your time and how you rank against everyone who has played the daily so far, and a countdown shows when the next set arrives at midnight UK time. A Share button copies your score, your place and a line per track to paste for friends.
Outside the daily there is an unlimited Practice Mode, with settings for a hard mode, the older versions of the music and which regions (from Misthalin and Asgarnia to Kourend and Varlamore) are included. A Multiplayer mode in beta lets friends play rounds in a shared lobby. Signing in is optional.
It suits Old School RuneScape players who know the soundtrack well, and anyone who wants to learn the map by ear. The site is free and carries ads.

Tips
- Listen for the instruments and mood: desert, elven and wilderness tracks each have a recognisable sound.
- Remember that some tracks play in dungeons; switch to the underground map if a tune feels like a cave or a boss lair.
- A pin in the right region still earns points, so commit to a best guess rather than skipping.
- Use Practice Mode with only one region enabled to learn an area's tracks.
