on daily.zalize.com

Interrogate is a free daily detective game from Zalize Daily Games. Each day brings one murder case for everyone: three or four suspects, ten questions to put to them, and exactly one of them is lying. Pick your questions, find the contradiction and make your one accusation. Sundays are Cold Case days with evidence cards and no interrogation.
About Interrogate (Zalize)
Interrogate turns the daily logic puzzle into a conversation. A case opens with a scene, a short scene report about an object found by the victim, and a row of suspects. You have ten questions in total to spread among three or four suspects, chosen from a list for each one: where they were at a given time, how they knew the victim, what they saw, whether they recognise the object. Each answer comes back in character, and a mark beside it tells you whether it hides a real clue or tells you nothing useful.
Exactly one suspect is lying, and the work is to catch the contradiction between testimonies. A meter shows how many questions you have left, and you can mark suspects and clues in your notes. When you are sure, you accuse the killer, and you only get one shot. On Sundays the format changes: Cold Case Sunday has no interrogation, only evidence cards to read before you name the killer, and your streak is never at risk that day.
A new case goes up every day at 00:00 UTC, numbered (#113 on 22 October 2026), and everyone in the world investigates the same one, so results are comparable and spoiler-free to share. The settings come round every couple of weeks, from an art gallery to a manor house or a night train, but the suspects, times and lie change. Past cases can be replayed from the archive without touching your streak. The game describes itself as an alternative to static puzzles like Murdle and Clues by Sam in which the interrogation itself is the game. It is free, has no ads, needs no account, and its menus can be switched to nine other languages, while the cases themselves are in English.

Tips
- Spend your first questions checking alibis against each other rather than asking each suspect about themselves.
- Keep a couple of questions in reserve to confirm a contradiction before you accuse.
- On Cold Case Sunday, read every evidence card twice; the lie is in the details.
