Hued puzzle 108: Today's Color, Wet Floor, with a large colour circle set to a guess, its hex code, three guesses left, and Hint, Reset and Submit Guess buttons

Hued is a daily colour puzzle. Each day gives a colour by name, often an everyday thing like a wet floor sign or a Christmas tree, and you use a colour picker to match it. You have three guesses, and a hint if you need one.

About Hued

Hued's puzzles are numbered; on 3 October 2026 it was number 108, and the colour was Wet Floor, the shade of a warning sign. Some days the name is a famous colour (Carolina Blue, Marian Blue), and some days it is an object whose colour everyone knows but no one has named (Snowman Nose, Gingerbread Cookie, Tokyo Tower).

The screen shows a large circle with your current colour and its hex code. Use the picker to set the colour, then submit; you have three guesses to get close, and a hint button helps narrow it down. Besides the daily, the site keeps themed collections of past puzzles, such as Around the World and seasonal sets, to play at any time. You can play without an account; signing up keeps your progress.

It is free in the browser. It suits players who enjoy Close Hue or The Daily Hue and like puzzles that live between memory and taste.

How to play Hued

  1. Open Hued and press Play Now for today's colour.
  2. Read the colour's name and picture it.
  3. Use the colour picker to set your guess; the circle and hex code update as you go.
  4. Submit your guess; you have three tries.
  5. Use the hint if you are unsure, then share how close you came.

Tips

  • Picture the real object in good light and match that, not a generic version of its colour.
  • Get the hue right first, then lightness, then saturation.
  • Use your second and third guesses to correct in one direction at a time.
  • Famous named colours such as Carolina Blue have exact definitions worth learning.
