Hangdle is a free daily hangman game. Each numbered day brings one hidden word at Easy, Medium and Hard, and you call letters to reveal it; every wrong letter burns a strand of the rope holding a lantern, and six misses put it out.

About Hangdle

Hangdle redraws hangman as a lantern hanging from a gallows. Blanks under it show the length of the day's word, and you tap letters on the keyboard to call them. Right letters fill in their places; each wrong one costs one of six strands, and when the strands are gone the lantern falls.

There is a word for each of three difficulties every day, numbered and the same for all players, and points for how cleanly you solve them. A Hint button helps when you are stuck, and a theme label such as Music hints at the topic. An endless mode, marked with an infinity sign, lets you keep playing beyond the dailies.

The game runs in the browser with no sign-up, keeps a streak and stats, and offers more than one language and visual themes. It suits anyone who wants the old pencil-and-paper game in a quick daily form.

How to play Hangdle

Choose Easy, Medium or Hard.
Tap a letter to call it: right letters fill the blanks, wrong ones burn a strand.
Use the theme label and the Hint button if you need help.
Find the word before all six strands are gone, then try the other difficulties.
