Hand Daily

Hand Daily is a small card game by handdaily, published on itch.io in May 2026 and built with Phaser 3 and TypeScript. Each run has five antes, and their score targets climb from 200 to 550, 1,400, 3,200 and 5,500 points. You are dealt eight cards, select up to five and play them as a poker hand. The hand type sets the score, shown as chips times multiplier, so two pair from today's opening hand showed 54 x 2 = 108.

Each ante gives you four plays and three discards, so you can throw away cards to chase a stronger hand. You earn coins as you go, and between antes a shop offers jokers such as Multiplier (+4 mult on the hand played), Pairs Pal (pairs give +50 chips) or Discard Fuel (unused discards add chips next ante). You can hold up to four jokers and chain their effects, and a reroll costs one coin. There are 12 jokers at launch.

The title screen names the day's deck with a six-letter code and a day number, such as RFHK80 for Day 299 on 26 October 2026. The code is worked out from the UTC date, so the same deck deals across the world. The page calls it one chance a day, though the game lets you start the day's deck over. When the run ends you can share it with a single emoji grid in the style of Wordle results, and a stats screen keeps your streak, best streak and past scores.

A Play Endless button beside Play Daily starts a fresh random deck whenever you like, for practice between dailies. The itch.io page still lists a global leaderboard as coming in a later update.

The game has no ads in the canvas, no account wall, no gambling, no push notifications and no microtransactions. Cards are vector art in a five-colour palette, and the music is by Kevin MacLeod.
