Guess The Rider's top 100 men daily for 24 October 2026: five best results, clue buttons, and a guess of Arnaud De Lie compared on team, type, ranking, country, age, weight and height

Guess The Rider is a cycling quiz with a daily rider in three pools: the top 100 men, the top 300 men and the top 100 women. You see the rider's five best results, and each guess fills a row comparing your rider with the day's one; the team history, a photo and the initials open as your tries go up. A Career Path daily and unlimited free play sit beside it.

About Guess The Rider

Guess The Rider is a free web quiz about professional road cycling, made by Gauzoo and first released in 2025. It is still updated: version 1.5 in October 2026 made the daily rider the game's front page, dropped the old points for a count of tries and a day streak, and version 1.6 added a Career Path daily. It is played in English in the browser, on a desktop or a phone.

Each day there is one rider for the top 100 men of the UCI road rankings, one for the top 300 men and one for the top 100 women, the same for everyone, with the date shown above the board. You start with the rider's five best results, with places and years. You type a name, pick the rider from the suggestion list and press Guess. A row appears with the guessed rider's photo, name, team, two rider types (such as classics rider or puncher), ranking, continent, country, age, weight and height. Green means a match. Yellow means close: a neighbouring country, a ranking within five places, an age within two years, a weight or height within three kilos or centimetres. Arrows tell you whether the day's rider ranks higher or lower, is older or younger, heavier or lighter, taller or shorter.

There is no limit on guesses: your score is the number of tries. More clues open as you go, the team history after three tries, a photo after ten and the initials after fifteen. A finished daily shows your day streak and a countdown to the next rider.

Career Path is a second kind of daily. You see the first team of a top 100 rider's career with its year, and each wrong guess reveals the next team; you have six tries.

The dailies play without an account. Logging in puts your day streak on the leaderboard and opens the archive of past days. Free play, under More Games, gives a random rider from the same pools or a top 100 of legends whenever you like. The pools hold about a hundred riders each, so a rider you met comes back after a month or so. It suits fans who know the peloton well enough to place a rider by size, age and team.

How to play Guess The Rider

  1. Open the site: the top 100 men daily is first, and the arrow beside its title moves to Career Path, the top 300 men and the top 100 women.
  2. Read the rider's five best results, then type a rider's name, pick them from the suggestion list and press Guess.
  3. Read the row: green is a match, yellow is close, and arrows point toward the day's ranking, age, weight and height.
  4. Keep guessing; the team history opens after three tries, a photo after ten and the initials after fifteen.
  5. Find the rider in as few tries as you can, then come back the next day to keep your streak.

Tips

  • Read the results list first: a run of stage race wins and a run of one-day classics point to very different riders.
  • Start with a well-known rider of middling age and size: the arrows on ranking, age, weight and height then narrow the field quickly.
  • Rider type matters most: a climber and a sprinter differ in weight by ten kilos or more.
  • Choose the name from the suggestion list: a name typed without its accents is not found.

Questions

Do I need an account?

No. The dailies and free play work without one. An account puts your day streak on the leaderboard and opens the archive of past days.

Are women riders included?

Yes. The top 100 women pool has its own daily rider and a free mode.

How many guesses do I get?

In the rider dailies there is no limit; your score is the number of tries. Career Path gives you six.

What time does the daily change?

The dailies are dated by the UTC day, so a new rider comes at midnight UTC.

What is Career Path?

A second daily: you see the first team of a top 100 rider's career, and each wrong guess reveals the next team, with six tries to name the rider.
