Guess The Phrase #077 board: category Olympic Sport, points wheel with a flame segment, the phrase tiles with one T shown and the letter keyboard

Guess The Phrase is a free daily word puzzle on Bored Panda built on the TV game show Wheel of Fortune. You spin a wheel to set what each letter is worth, call consonants to reveal them in the hidden phrase, buy vowels with your points and solve before the flame on the wheel burns your bank. Each day brings a new phrase and a new category.

About Guess The Phrase (Bored Panda)

Guess The Phrase is one of Bored Panda's Daily Games, published every day on its own numbered and dated page next to Guess The Country, Guess The Famous Person, Guess The Timeline and a Daily Word Search. It began in the summer of 2026 and reached No. 77 on 19 October 2026.

The puzzle borrows the format of Wheel of Fortune. A board shows the hidden phrase as blank tiles, with the day's category above it, such as an Olympic sport, a film quote, a song lyric, an idiom or an animal. You spin the wheel to set the points for your next consonant, pick a letter from the on-screen keyboard, and every place it appears is revealed and paid. Vowels are bought with points you have banked. One segment of the wheel carries a flame that burns your whole bank.

The tension is between playing safe and chasing points: you can type the full phrase at any time, and solving sooner earns a bigger bonus, while extra spins risk the flame. Each page links to the day before and to the Daily Games hub, so earlier phrases can still be played, and readers post their scores in the comments under the game.

The board sits inside an ordinary Bored Panda article with ads around it, and it works the same on a phone, where the wheel stacks above the letters. It suits anyone who grew up calling out answers at the TV and word game players who like a little luck mixed in.

How to play Guess The Phrase (Bored Panda)

  1. Open the day's Guess The Phrase page from Bored Panda's Daily Games and press Start.
  2. Read the category above the board: it is the first clue to the phrase.
  3. Spin the wheel to set how many points each correct consonant is worth.
  4. Pick a consonant: every place it appears in the phrase is revealed and paid.
  5. Buy a vowel with banked points when you need one.
  6. Type the full phrase and press Solve as soon as you know it: the sooner you solve, the bigger the bonus.

Tips

  • Start with common consonants such as T, N, S, R and L.
  • Short words of two or three letters often fall first and unlock the rest.
  • Every spin risks the flame segment, which wipes your bank, so solve once you are fairly sure.
  • Buy a vowel early when the category leaves the phrase wide open.
