Golf Wordle on Draft Challenger is a daily guess-the-golfer game. The Wordle board gives eight tries, each guess compared with the hidden player on country, age and height; the Classic board gives fifteen guesses at a golfer from the long record of the majors, judged against one of their real seasons. Both boards are the same for everyone and change at midnight Eastern.
About Golf Wordle (Draft Challenger)
Golf Wordle is part of Draft Challenger, a sports site that runs daily player boards for ten sports beside its all-time draft games, a golf career simulator and Golf Connections. Each board hides one golfer a day, the same for every player.
On the Wordle board you type a golfer's name, pick it from the list and press Guess. The row compares your pick with the answer on country, age and height: green for a match, gold for close and red for a miss, with arrows that point up or down on the numbers. Eight names is the limit.
Classic is the harder board. The answer can come from any era of the record, which here reaches back to the first Open Championship in 1860, and the board opens with the era, the length of the career and a free example row. Each guess is set against one real season: style, season, event, and in the modern era the strokes-gained figures (off the tee, approach, around the green, putting and per round), with older eras compared on majors and top finishes instead. After four misses the event clue opens, and after seven one more fact, with the option to be told the answer.
Both boards keep separate streaks on your device, with no sign-up needed. It suits golf fans who know the tours and their history, and players of the other Draft Challenger boards.

Tips
- Country narrows the field fastest on the Wordle board; age then separates the generations.
- In Classic, open with a major winner from the 1990s or 2000s: the columns show which era's numbers the day uses.
- Follow the arrows on height and age rather than guessing at random.
