fribble

fribble is a daily puzzle page in the style of a newspaper games section. Its daily page carries the date and lists every game with a Played or Not played mark, and each game opens on that day's board with the date under its name.

The word games are a 5x5 Mini Crossword scored against the clock (30 seconds for gold), Word Shift, where you slide rows and columns to make words and earn more moves, Nine Grid, where you make words from nine letters before the replacement stack runs out, and Word Hive, where you trace words across a hexagonal board and chase multipliers. Number Rush is a mental arithmetic target puzzle, and Sudoku is a classic 9x9 grid with colour-coded numbers.

The geography half is what sets it apart from most daily bundles. Outlines shows a country's shape and a set of country names to choose from, with gold for three tries or fewer. Flagged asks for the country behind a flag, Landmark has you draw today's country from memory, Borderless asks you to place a marker on a globe with no borders or labels, and False Flag tests how well you really know flags.

You can play the whole daily set without an account. A free account keeps your streak, scores and leaderboard place, and gives you a pal to dress up with hats and colours unlocked by gold and silver medals. A $5 a month membership opens the archive of past days (more than 1,100 puzzles), adds monthly pal items and early access to beta games, and removes the ads. The changelog shows regular updates, such as the False Flag launch in September 2026 and a Nine Grid scoring change in October 2026.

It suits players who want a whole morning routine of short puzzles from one place, especially those who like geography as well as words.
