on gridsport.games

Football Bingo on GridSport.Games deals a 4x4 card of criteria each day, such as a club, a country, a position or a trophy, and a queue of 20 players shown one at a time. You place each player on a square he fits, or skip him, until all 16 squares are filled. Each of the 20 league pools has its own card, new at 05:00 UTC.
About Football Bingo (GridSport)
Football Bingo is one of GridSport.Games' three daily football formats, beside Football Grid and Football Wordle, made by Qubit10 and also found in the GridSport app on Google Play. The card is a 4x4 board, and each square carries one requirement: a club badge such as Atletico Madrid or PSG, a flag such as Croatia or Ghana, a position such as Goalkeeper, or an honour such as World Cup Winner.
At the top of the screen is the current player, with his photo and name, and a queue of 20 behind him. You click a square he matches and his photo drops into it; some players fit several squares, so where you put each one matters. A Skip button sends a player to the back of the queue at no cost, three hints help when you are stuck, and a counter tracks squares filled and errors. A club square counts if the player has ever played for that club.
The cards are dated and generated every day at 05:00 UTC, with a Big 5 Leagues pool and one for each of 19 competitions, from the Premier League and the Champions League to the J1 League and Liga I, the same for every player. There is no sign-up and no ads, and the game can be played in 18 languages. It suits fans who know squads well and like a puzzle with a little planning in it.

Tips
- Fill rare squares, such as a small country, as soon as a player fits them.
- Skip freely: there is no penalty, and the queue comes round again.
- Put versatile players on the squares nobody else will fit.
- A club square counts any club in a player's career, not only his current one.
