Fangandle is a Wordle-style character guessing game for fans of Danganronpa fangans, the fan-made Danganronpa games. Each guess shows how close you are on eleven traits, from "Ultimate" talent to blood type and fate, and the Daily Challenge has a new character every day. It is free in the browser and has spoilers for every fangan it includes.
About Fangandle
Fangandle is a fan game by LapisLadzuli, released on itch.io in 2026. It covers over 200 characters from twelve Danganronpa fangans, among them Danganronpa Another, Super Danganronpa Another 2, Danganronpa Mauve, Kill/Cure: Beautiful Vice and The Uzujigoku Massacre. The page warns that it contains spoilers for every one of them.
You guess a character and the game compares them with the answer on eleven traits: "Ultimate" talent (including secret or false talents), gender, date of birth, age, weight, height, eyes, hair, blood type, fate (victim, mastermind, blackened and so on) and which fangan they come from. Next to Wordle's correct, almost and wrong markers it adds Higher, Lower and Unknown, the last for details a fangan never made public.
The Daily Challenge has one new character every day with every fangan switched on, and resets at your own midnight. Outside the daily, Quickplay lets you take out any fangan you do not know well. There is also a download version.
It was made for a computer screen; it can be played on a phone, with some visual oddities. It suits players who have read their way through the fangan scene and want to test how well they remember the cast.
How to play Fangandle
- Open Fangandle and press Daily Challenge.
- Type and pick a fangan character as your guess.
- Read the eleven trait boxes: green is correct, orange is close and red is wrong.
- Use the Higher and Lower arrows on numbers and dates, and note the Unknown marks.
- Keep guessing with what you learned until you find the day's character.

Tips
- Talent and fangan narrow the field fastest, so start with a character whose traits cut the roster.
- Use height and date of birth arrows to bracket the answer.
- Unknown means that detail was never made public, not that your guess was wrong.
- Play Quickplay with only the fangans you know to learn the rosters before the daily.
