Dodeku is a daily number logic puzzle from Fox Point Games. A 4x4 grid has some squares blacked out, a few numbers already placed and target sums beside its rows and columns; you drag the remaining tiles from 1 to 12 into place until every sum matches. Puzzles are dated and numbered, with an archive of past days.
About Dodeku
Dodeku is made and edited by Lukas Stanley of Fox Point Games, the studio behind Agent Caesar, Zaggle and Wordsmyth. Each puzzle is a 4x4 grid. Four squares are blacked out, a few numbers are given, and target sums sit beside most rows and columns. The numbers 1 to 12 are each used once: the ones not already on the board wait in a tray, and you drag them into the empty squares so that every line adds up to its target.
The game counts your moves, and you can recall all tiles to the tray or unlock tiles to rearrange them. Puzzles run in a dated sequence that began with Dodeku #1 on 29 January 2025, so every player gets the same one each day, and the archive lets you go back to earlier numbers. A statistics panel keeps your record, and a share button copies your result. There is also a printed book of puzzles.
Fox Point Games is free and has no ads, supported by optional memberships of a few dollars a month; there is no account to make before playing. You can sign up for a daily email reminder when the new puzzle drops. It works the same with a mouse on a desktop and with touch on a phone. It suits people who like Kakuro or KenKen but want something that takes a few minutes.

Tips
- Start with lines that have only one empty square: the missing number is the sum minus the rest.
- Every number from 1 to 12 appears once, so the tray tells you exactly which numbers are left to place.
- Blacked-out squares shorten lines, so short lines with big sums narrow things quickly.
- Check a placement against both its row and its column before moving on.
