DCdle is a free daily guessing game for DC Comics fans. Its main mode asks you to guess the character from the comics, heroes and villains alike, with one challenge a day for everyone, and a leaderboard ranks players by current streak and total wins. It can be played in English or French.
About DCdle
DCdle is a fan-made daily guessing game for DC Comics readers, made by JhimJhim and not tied to DC Comics. Its home page sets a crowd of Justice League and Teen Titans art behind a bat-shaped logo, with one daily mode below it, Guess the Character from Comics.
Each day there is one hidden character for everyone. You type a name, pick it from the list, and the game adds a row for that character with six tiles: gender, alignment, race, origin, year of first appearance and powers. Green means the tile matches. Orange means part of it is right, as when the answer has some of the same powers. Red means none of it matches. The year tile carries an arrow when the answer first appeared earlier or later.
Three hint buttons sit above the board. The first shows a comic the character appeared in after 3 tries, the second a quote after 6, and the third a written description after 11. A leaderboard ranks signed-up players by current streak and total wins, though the daily plays without an account. The site switches between English and French.
It suits readers who know the DC universe past the big names, since villains and supporting characters come up too and the race and origin tiles reward knowing where a character is from.
How to play DCdle
- Open DCdle and choose Guess the Character from Comics.
- Type a DC character's name and pick it from the list that appears.
- Read the row of tiles for your guess. Green matches, orange is partly right, red is wrong, and the year arrow points to the answer's year of first appearance.
- Keep guessing. After 3, 6 and 11 tries the comic, quote and description hints open.
- Find the character, then sign in if you want your streak on the leaderboard.

Tips
- Start with a hero whose tiles split the field, such as one with powers and an origin off Earth.
- Watch the powers tile. Orange there means the answer shares some powers with your guess.
- Use the year arrow to rule out whole eras of characters.
- Villains are fair game, so think beyond the Justice League.
