DailyPlay Crossword Maxi is the largest of DailyPlay's three daily crosswords. Each day brings a themed 15 by 15 grid with about 76 clues, the size of a newspaper daily, and every player gets the same one. It has a timer, hints, a calendar of earlier puzzles and no ads.
About DailyPlay Crossword Maxi
The Maxi is DailyPlay's full-size crossword. Its 15 by 15 grid matches a newspaper daily, and each one has a theme: the longest answers share a trick, and a title above the grid or a revealer answer ties them together. Clues run from plain definitions to wordplay meant to mislead.
There is one Maxi a day and everyone solves the same grid. The puzzle for 28 October 2026 was titled Who Are You Going As? and hid Halloween costumes in its long answers. A timer runs while you solve. Hint, Undo and Notes buttons sit under the grid, and you can share your result when you finish.
A calendar on the page opens earlier days. The last two are free with a free account, and older ones come with DailyPlay+. Progress is kept on your device unless you sign up, and the daily needs no account at all.
