DailyMetro Toulouse is a free daily guessing game about Tisséo's VAL metro (lines A and B) and tramway (T1 and T2). Type any station and the game colours its lines, the direction to the target, the length of its name and its area green, orange or red, guiding you to the day's station in 8 guesses. It plays in French or English, with Classic, Map and Photo rounds.
About DailyMetro Toulouse
DailyMetro is a set of free browser games, one per city, made by Eliott Gandiolle. The Toulouse edition, marked new on the site, covers Tisséo's VAL metro (lines A and B) and the tramway (T1 and T2). The page opens in French, and an English version sits at its own address.
Each day has one hidden station and a day number, the same for everyone in Toulouse, and a new one is drawn at midnight local time. You have 8 guesses and may start with any station. For each guess the board shows four clues: the lines it is on, an arrow pointing from your guess toward the target, the number of letters in its name with an arrow for more or fewer, and its zone. Each clue turns green for a match, orange for a partial match or red for a miss. At guess 4 the game tells you the line.
After Classic, the day goes on with a Map round, where you place the station on the network plan, and a Photo round, where you recognise it from a picture of its entrance. A Normal help level gives letter and zone clues and hints, while Connoisseur swaps in harder ones such as the opening year and traffic. Past days can be replayed, a streak is counted, and no account is needed.
It suits locals and transit fans who know the Ville rose's network by heart, as well as visitors who want to learn it one station at a time.
How to play DailyMetro Toulouse
- Open DailyMetro Toulouse (or its English version) and choose a help level: Normal or Connoisseur.
- Type the name of any station and pick it from the list to make your first guess.
- Read the clues: lines, direction to the target, number of letters and zone, each coloured green, orange or red.
- Use the arrow and the shared lines to pick a station closer to the target; at guess 4 the line is shown.
- Find the day's station within 8 guesses, then go on to the Map and Photo rounds and share your result.

Tips
- Start with a station where lines meet, such as Jean Jaurès on lines A and B, to rule out a line at once.
- Follow the direction arrow, then use the letter count to choose between nearby candidates.
- Use the network explorer to learn the lines and tram stops before trying Connoisseur.
