DailyMetro Barcelona is a free daily game about the Barcelona metro. Type any station and the board shows the lines it shares with the hidden one, an arrow toward it, how its name length compares and whether it is in the same zone, so you close in on the day's station within 8 guesses. Map and Photo rounds follow, and it plays in Catalan or English.
About DailyMetro Barcelona
DailyMetro is a set of free browser games, one per city, made by Eliott, an engineer who builds them in his spare time. The Barcelona edition is one of the newer cities on the site: it is marked New, and its day counter stood at 13 on 18 October 2026. The main page is in Catalan, and an English version sits at its own address.
Each day one station is drawn at midnight Barcelona time, and every player of the city gets the same one. You start with any station you like, or the suggested one. Each guess fills a row: the metro lines it shares with the mystery station, an arrow pointing toward it, the number of letters in its name with an up or down mark, and its zone. Each cell turns green for a match, orange for a near miss and red for a miss. You have 8 guesses, and from the fourth the game shows you the line.
The day has three rounds side by side. Classic is the clue game above, Map asks you to place the station on a map of the network, and Photo asks you to recognise it from a picture of its entrance. A Normal or Connoisseur choice sets the difficulty, a streak counter tracks your run, and past days can be replayed. No account or download is needed.
It suits people who ride the Barcelona metro every day, transit fans, and visitors who want to learn the network one station at a time. Players who already know DailyMetro from Paris, Madrid or London will find the same rules on a new map.
How to play DailyMetro Barcelona
- Open DailyMetro Barcelona, in Catalan or English, and pick Normal or Connoisseur.
- Type the name of any station, or press the suggested one, to make your first guess.
- Read the row: shared lines, the arrow toward the target, more or fewer letters, and the zone.
- Pick a station that lies in the arrow's direction and fits the clues, and guess again.
- Find the station within 8 guesses, then play the Map and Photo rounds of the day.

Tips
- Start with a big interchange such as Passeig de Gràcia: three lines are checked at once.
- Follow the arrow first, then use the letter count to choose between stations in that direction.
- Use the network explorer to learn the lines before trying Connoisseur difficulty.
