Daily Puzzle is a free Android game from Radikal Solutions that joins a numbers puzzle and a word puzzle into one daily challenge. First you combine five number tiles to reach a target, then you guess a five-letter word in six tries, and every star you earned in the first stage reveals a letter before you start. Everyone gets the same puzzle, new at midnight UTC.
About Daily Puzzle (Radikal Solutions)
Daily Puzzle has two stages that depend on each other. Stage one is a numbers round: you get five tiles, such as 2, 5, 8, 13 and 15, and the four operations, and you try to reach a target like 307. Hitting it exactly earns three stars, and getting close earns one or two.
Stage two is a word round in the Wordle style: a five-letter word and six tries, with green and grey tiles after each guess. The twist is that each star from the numbers round reveals a letter before you type anything, so a strong first stage leaves the word half open and a weak one leaves you starting cold.
The puzzle is new every day at midnight UTC and the same for everyone. The app keeps streaks and statistics, offers streak freezes for missed days, and makes one share card for both stages that shows your pattern without giving away the answer. There is an optional daily leaderboard and an optional Google sign-in to carry your streak to a new phone, but no account is needed to play and there is no countdown timer.
The game is free with a small banner and at most one full-screen ad a day, shown after you finish. A one-time purchase removes the ads, and the optional Daily Puzzle+ subscription, monthly or yearly, opens every past puzzle in the archive, removes ads, tops up streak freezes each month and adds deeper stats. Radikal Solutions is a small South African studio that makes Android apps.
It suits players who like both Countdown-style arithmetic and five-letter word games and want them done in about five minutes.
