Daily Logic is a free phone app that puts six puzzles into one daily set: WordGlass, Word Search, WordCraft, Hangman, Sudoku and Word Ladder. A new set arrives every morning, the home screen shows how many of the six you have finished, each puzzle keeps its own streak, and a calendar lets you go back to earlier days.

About Daily Logic - Word Puzzles

Daily Logic collects six small puzzles on one home screen. WordGlass chains words around a square of twelve letters, each word starting with the last letter of the one before, until every letter is used. Word Search hides six words in a 10x10 letter grid, with a hard mode. WordCraft follows the spelling bee format: make as many words as you can from the outer letters, always using the centre one, for points. Hangman asks for a word before your attempts run out, Sudoku comes in Mini (6x6), Medium and Expert levels, and Word Ladder turns a start word into a target word one letter at a time, in as few steps as possible.

The home screen shows today's date and marks each game Not started, In progress or Done, with its own streak. A calendar keeps your history so you can revisit past puzzles. There are light, dark and automatic themes, haptic feedback on every key, and no account is needed.

The app is made by Casey Skaggs, who writes on the developer's project page that each day's puzzles are generated and shipped to the app by an automated job, with no manual step. It came out on iOS in February 2026 and is also on Android, with regular updates since (version 1.06 in September 2026). It is free; the Google Play listing says it contains ads.

It suits a player who wants a short run of familiar word puzzles and a sudoku in one place instead of several apps.

How to play Daily Logic - Word Puzzles

  1. Open Daily Logic and pick one of the six puzzles on the home screen.
  2. In WordGlass, chain words around the square so each begins with the last letter of the one before, until every letter on the sides is used.
  3. In Word Search, find the six listed words hidden in the letter grid.
  4. In WordCraft, make words from the letters, always using the centre letter, to build your points.
  5. In Word Ladder, change one letter at a time to turn the start word into the target word.
  6. Finish each puzzle to keep its streak, and use the calendar to go back to missed days.

Tips

  • In Word Ladder, look for the letter positions that already match the target and change the others first.
  • In WordGlass, use letters that are hard to start words with at the end of a word instead.
  • Word Search words can run across, down and diagonally, so scan for rare letters such as Y or F first.
