Colordle Game is a browser take on Mastermind. In Daily mode everyone gets the same secret row of six colours and has eight attempts to find it, with a border on each slot that says whether that colour is right, in the code elsewhere, or not in it. Unlimited mode deals more codes at three difficulty levels.
About Colordle Game
Colordle Game puts the old code-breaking board game in a web page. The secret is a row of six colours, picked from a palette of eight, and colours can repeat. You fill six slots, submit, and each slot's border tells you what you got: green for the right colour in the right place, orange for a colour that is in the code somewhere else, red for one that is not in it at all (or whose copies you have already found).
Daily mode gives one code a day, the same for every player on that date, and always on Medium with eight attempts. The page opens in Unlimited mode, and you switch to Daily in Settings. Unlimited deals new codes without limit at Easy (ten attempts), Medium (eight) or Hard (six). Easy and Medium allow one hint per game that reveals a correct colour in one slot. Hard has none.
Because every slot gets its own mark, it plays closer to a colour Wordle than to strict Mastermind, where you only learn how many pegs are right. That makes it quicker to learn and a good first step into code games. A Colorblind palette and a setting that adds a shape to every colour help players who find the hues hard to tell apart. Number keys 1 to 8 pick colours on a keyboard.
The page keeps separate statistics for Daily and Unlimited, with games played, win rate and streaks, all stored in your browser. After a game you can share a grid of coloured squares. It is made by Kaloo Dinaz as an independent, fan-made game, and needs no account.
How to play Colordle Game
- Open Settings and choose Daily for the shared puzzle. The page starts in Unlimited.
- Click a colour in the palette or press 1 to 8. With Quick Fill on, each colour goes into the next empty slot.
- Fill all six slots and press Submit Guess.
- Read each slot's border. Green is the right colour in the right place, orange is in the code elsewhere, and red is not in it.
- Use what you learned in the next row until you find the whole code within eight attempts.

Tips
- Spend the first guesses on pairs of colours, such as two reds, two oranges and two yellows, to learn quickly which ones are in the code.
- Remember colours can repeat, so a green does not rule that colour out elsewhere.
- Keep an orange colour but move it to a new slot to find its place.
- Save the one hint for the end, when a single unknown slot is all that stands between you and the code.
