Booktokdle is a daily book-guessing site with three puzzles a day drawn from one catalogue of popular novels, from classics to BookTok favourites. Name the day's book from a blurred cover that sharpens with each miss, from a row of emojis, or from a quotation, then try the free-play sales, years and time-trial games.
About Booktokdle
Booktokdle is a daily guessing site for readers. Its main game, Portadas (Covers), shows a heavily blurred book cover and gives you five guesses to name the novel. Each wrong guess brings the cover into sharper focus and unlocks a written hint, such as the year the book came out.
Two more daily puzzles use the same catalogue. In Emojis, a book is told in five symbols that appear one at a time as you miss; in Quotes, you name the book a line comes from. These three change once a day, at midnight in Madrid, and every player gets the same ones. An archive lets you go back to earlier days.
Beside the dailies are three free-play games you can repeat as often as you like: VS asks which of two books sold more, Years has you put books in order of publication, and Contrarreloj is a time trial.
The site defaults to Spanish but can be played in English, French, Portuguese, German and Italian from Configuration, and it offers light, dark and sepia themes. Accounts are not open yet, so your results and streaks are kept in your browser. The catalogue leans towards books that are popular on BookTok alongside well-known classics, so it suits readers who follow what people are talking about as much as those who know the canon.
How to play Booktokdle
- Open Booktokdle, choose your language in Configuration, and pick a game from Games.
- In Covers, look at the blurred cover and type the title you think it is; pick it from the suggestions and press Guess.
- Each wrong guess, or a Skip, sharpens the cover and unlocks a hint; you have five guesses in all.
- Play the day's Emojis and Quotes puzzles the same way: each miss reveals another emoji or clue.
- Share your result, then come back after midnight Madrid time for a new set.

Tips
- Colours and layout often give away the genre before the title does: romance and fantasy covers look very different even when blurred.
- A first guess you are unsure of still pays: the hint it unlocks, such as the publication year, narrows the field.
- Use the Catalogue page to see the kind of books the game draws from.
- Missed a day? The archive keeps earlier puzzles.
