Today's ASSEMBDLE patch day, FARMLIFE.EXE: coins, fence and energy with their buttons, the trainer goals and the memory scanner showing 88 hits for 153

ASSEMBDLE is a daily browser puzzle about old-school game hacking. Each day brings one small program to work on with a built-in memory scanner and debugger: find a value, patch the code that changes it, or rewrite a check so it accepts a serial it should refuse. Monday is the easiest day and Sunday the hardest.

About ASSEMBDLE

ASSEMBDLE, made by ImpalaPUA and running since 12 October 2026, turns the craft of the cheat trainer and the crackme into a daily puzzle. Every day there is one release, styled like a scene NFO file, with a target program, a goal and a score of 1000 points. The tools are built into the page: a memory viewer that shows the routine line by line, the registers, and Step, Run and Reset buttons.

The week climbs in seven tiers. Monday and Tuesday are scan days, where you find a value in memory. Wednesday and Thursday are patch days, where you find the value and then change the code that alters it. Friday to Sunday are crackmes: a program refuses a serial and you edit its instructions until it says yes. You double-click a line, type a new instruction, and the site assembles and runs your version, so any change that reaches the goal counts.

Three hints sit under each puzzle, each one plainer than the last, and each one costs points. A walk-through mode plays the day with you step by step for complete beginners, though that run is not scored, and a separate tutorial teaches the basics first. Your stats, streak and badges are kept on your device, and an archive calendar lets you open earlier days by type.

The site has no ads, no trackers and no cookies unless you switch on remember me or sign in through Steam. That sign-in is optional and only keeps your name; the puzzle plays without it. A Steam release is announced as coming soon. It suits programmers, students of assembly and anyone who grew up with trainers and keygen music; the extras include a chiptune studio for the wait until the next release.

A patch day shows how it goes. On Thursday 22 October the target was FARMLIFE.EXE, a little farm game where the goal is a 1,000,000-coin Diamond Tractor. Scanning for the 153 coins on screen finds 88 matching addresses, and narrowing them down leads to a routine that rebuilds the coin total from your hens on every tick, so editing the number itself does nothing; the fix is in the code. Bonus goals, such as a full fence, earn a badge.

How to play ASSEMBDLE

  1. Open assembdle.com and read the day's release notes: the target program, its goal and the tier for that weekday.
  2. Read the routine in the memory viewer and use Step or Run to watch the registers change.
  3. On scan days, use the memory scanner to find the value the goal names.
  4. On patch and crackme days, double-click a line of assembly and type a new instruction; the site assembles and runs it.
  5. Press the goal's button, such as Run the check, to test your change; open a hint if you are stuck, at a cost in points.
  6. When the target gives the wanted answer the day counts as cracked, and you can share your result.

Tips

  • Start with the tutorial if you have never read assembly: it covers what the registers and jumps do.
  • On crackme days, follow the path a refused input takes through the jumps; often one conditional jump is all that stands between you and the accepting line.
  • Hints get more direct as they go and cost more, so try the first one before the others.
  • Earlier in the week is easier, so new players can start on a Monday and build up to the weekend crackmes.

Questions

What time does ASSEMBDLE reset?

A new release comes out at midnight US Eastern Time, and the page shows a countdown to the next one.

Do I need to know assembly?

It helps, but the site has a tutorial, three hints a day and a walk-through mode that plays the puzzle with you step by step. A walked run is not scored.

Is ASSEMBDLE free?

Yes. It plays in the browser with no account; signing in through Steam is optional. The site says it has no ads and no trackers.

Can I play earlier puzzles?

Yes. The archive shows a month at a time, marks scan, patch and crackme days, and lets you open a day you missed.
