Zoodle is a daily animal guessing game from the puzzle site PuzzNest. You start with 100 points, reveal clues about the mystery animal whenever you want, and guess as often as you like; each clue and each wrong guess costs points. One shared puzzle a day, plus unlimited practice with random animals.

About Zoodle (PuzzNest)

Zoodle sets one mystery animal a day, the same for every player, and gives you clues about it one at a time. You begin with 100 points, and each round has 15 clue categories. Revealing a clue costs 6 points and every wrong guess costs 5, though the score never drops below 10, but you can guess whenever you like and as often as you like, so the game is a balance between waiting for a telling clue and committing early for a better score.

When you solve it, or run through all the clues, the game shows the animal and a fact about it, such as the peregrine falcon being the fastest animal on Earth. Your score for the day can be compared with friends, and an Unlimited mode offers random animals as often as you like to sharpen your strategy between daily puzzles.

Compare your score with friends, or switch to Unlimited for more animals.

Tips

A wrong guess (5 points) costs a little less than a clue (6 points), so a reasonable guess can be worth trying.
Think about habitat and diet clues together to narrow the animal group.
Use Unlimited mode to learn how much each clue category usually gives away.
