Zeldle is a daily guessing game set in The Legend of Zelda series. Each day there is a mystery item, game, character and sword, and every guess shows which of its traits match the answer. It plays in French, English and Japanese.
About Zeldle
Zeldle is a fan-made -dle for the Zelda series, built by a French freelance web developer (LPS Consulting) as a personal project and playable in French, English and Japanese. Each day a new answer is picked for each mode, and you have up to 10 guesses, shown as five hearts that empty by halves, to find it.
The item mode compares your guess with the answer on its game, platform, type, colours and location. The game mode asks you to identify one of the Zelda games from its release year, platform, sales and rating. The character mode works on traits such as the game of origin, race and role in the story, and the sword mode covers the series' blades. Green means correct, orange partly correct and red wrong, and an arrow shows whether the answer's game is older or newer.
A countdown shows the time until the next puzzle at midnight, each mode names yesterday's answer, and a history page lets you play past days. A library page lists the items, characters and swords in the game, and a sound mode is marked as coming soon. The site is free and needs no account; it carries Google ads, and it is not affiliated with Nintendo.
How to play Zeldle
- Pick a mode: item, game, character or sword.
- Type a name in the search box and choose it from the list to submit it.
- Read the row of clues: green is correct, orange partly correct, red wrong, and an arrow points to an older or newer game.
- Use the clues to narrow the field before your 10 guesses run out.
- Come back after midnight for new puzzles, or open the history page to play past days.

Tips
- In the game mode, release year and platform narrow things down quickly.
- For characters, settle the game of origin first, since many characters appear in only one.
- Swords often reuse names across games, so look closely at the origin clue.
- Each mode names yesterday's answer under the search box, and the history page lets you replay it.
