WarframeDle

WarframeDle is laid out like an old computer desktop, with icons for each game and a window listing the day's modes. Warframe is the classic mode: you guess a Warframe and see how its info compares with the answer's, narrowing it down guess by guess. Quote asks who said a line, Ability which Warframe has a given ability, and Icons which Warframe a set of picture icons represents. Each mode shows how many players have solved today's puzzle; on 18 October about 550 had solved each by midday.

The desktop also holds other games from the same site, WarframeDless, WarframeDle ToT and WarframeDle Squads, along with streams, a Discord link and a support page. You can play without an account, but the site suggests logging in or signing up to keep your data safe and for cross-save in the future.

It is a fan project for Warframe players and is free to play; its logos are credited to Eno.B Art and its background to Okkoinu.

In the Warframe mode each guess fills a row of eight tiles: the Warframe, its gender, progenitor element, whether it has a Prime and an Exalted weapon, its playstyle, whether it is a Protoframe, and its release year, with arrows telling you if the answer came out later or earlier. Green is a match, orange a partial match and red a miss. After four wrong guesses you can reveal an ability hint, and after nine a community hint. The answer resets at midnight UTC, and the page shows yesterday's Warframe under the input box.
