Triplit gives you three letters and three short clues. You find a 4-letter word that uses the three letters plus one more, then a 5-letter and a 6-letter word that each add one new letter, and work out which clue goes with which word. You have five turns, and the daily puzzle is free.
About Triplit
Triplit is a daily word game by Mathan Glezer, played in the browser and in apps for iPhone and Android. Each puzzle starts with three letters at the top of a stepped board of 4, 5 and 6 squares.
The words form a ladder: the 4-letter word contains the three given letters plus one new one, the 5-letter word contains all four of those plus one more, and the 6-letter word adds one more again. Three clues come with the puzzle, but in random order, so part of the work is deciding which clue belongs to which row. A clue's part of speech matches its answer: a verb clue wants a verb.
You fill in the rows and press Submit; each submission uses one of your five turns and shows which rows are right. Reveal shows a letter in a row of your choice but also costs a turn. When you finish you can share a result card, and sharing unlocks bonus puzzles.
The daily puzzle is free and needs no account. A short ad can play after you finish on the free version. Triplit Pro, a subscription, opens the full archive of past puzzles and removes the ads. It suits players who like anagrams and definition clues and want a puzzle of a few minutes.
How to play Triplit
- Look at the three letters at the top of the board.
- Read the three clues; they are shuffled, so any clue may belong to any row.
- Find a 4-letter word that uses the three letters plus one new letter.
- Find a 5-letter word with all the letters of the first word plus one more, then a 6-letter word that adds one more again.
- Type your guesses into the rows and press Submit; each submission uses one of five turns.
- Change the rows marked wrong and submit again until all three are solved.

Tips
- Start with the clue whose answer is easiest to spot; any row can come first.
- Match the part of speech: a plural or past-tense clue points to a plural or past-tense answer.
- Once you have one word, the next row is an anagram of it plus one letter, which narrows the choice.
- Wild guesses are fine before you submit, since every row gets feedback; keep Reveal for when you are truly stuck.
