Trackdyl is a free daily album-cover game on the retro music site G33Z3R Radio. Each day everyone gets the same blurred cover from a record of the 1960s to the 1990s and six guesses to name the artist; every miss takes some of the blur away. Your result shares as a spoiler-free grid, and your streak and stats stay in your browser.
About Trackdyl
Trackdyl is one of the small games on G33Z3R Radio, a site built around music from the 1960s to the 1990s. The game sits in a window drawn like an old desktop program, TRACKDYL.EXE, and shows one album cover a day, blurred past recognition. The question is always the same: who is the artist? Everyone gets the same cover on the same day, so friends can compare results.
You type an artist's name and pick from the suggestions, which come from the site's own song catalogue, then press Guess. A wrong name fills one of the six rows in red and the cover loses a step of blur, so the last look is much clearer than the first. You only need the artist, not the album title. When the round ends the cover snaps into focus and you can hear the record and read what people remember about it.
Played, win rate, streak and best streak are kept in your browser, and the site has a leaderboard. The game is free, with no sign-up, no app and no ads. It suits players who know their records by their sleeves and liked Daily Sleeve or PopIdle; the catalogue leans on classic rock, pop and soul from four decades.
How to play Trackdyl
- Open g33z3r.com/games/trackdyl and look at the day's blurred cover.
- Type an artist's name in the box and pick it from the suggestions.
- Press Guess. A wrong name fills a row in red and the cover sharpens one step.
- Name the artist within six guesses to win and keep your streak.
- Share your grid, then listen to the record on the song's page.

Tips
- Colours and layout often give away the era before any detail does; use them to narrow the decade.
- The answer is the artist, not the album, so any name from the right act counts.
- Hold back an early guess if the blur is heavy; a better look comes only after a miss, so make each guess a real candidate.
