Timeswipe
Rate itSwipe left for before, right for after: ten events a day against a given year.
on play.timeswipe.fun

Timeswipe shows you a historical event and a year, and you swipe left if it happened before that year or right if after. The Daily Challenge has ten cards and three hearts and is the same for everyone that day. Afterwards, Marathon modes and weekly Special Runs let you keep playing.
About Timeswipe
Timeswipe is a swipe-card history game for the browser and for Android phones, made by Pink Bean Studio, the studio founded by the original creator of Worldle. Each card names an event, invention or moment from culture, such as the premiere of The Wire or chocolate reaching Europe, with a picture, and the game sets it against a year shown in large type above it.
You decide whether the event happened before or after that year: swipe left or press Before, swipe right or press After. A wrong call costs one of your three hearts, and the aim of the Daily Challenge is to get through all ten cards. Right calls earn points, a run of them raises a combo multiplier, and three stars mark how high you scored. The daily set is fixed for each date and is the same for every player, your streak is counted, and the result can be shared.
After the daily you can go on in Marathon modes, which draw cards by category (events, inventions, cinema and TV, literature and more). New marathon categories open as your daily streak grows, or through Patreon support, which also removes ads. Special Runs add a themed set every Wednesday, and community challenges unlock more of them as players score. Signed-in players can build a run from their own cards.
The game can be played in English or French. It suits anyone who wants a quick, thumb-friendly history check, and players of Earlier or Songswipe who want ten calls a day.
How to play Timeswipe
- Open play.timeswipe.fun or the Android app and choose Daily Challenge.
- Read the event on the card and the year shown above it.
- Swipe left or press Before if you think it happened before that year, swipe right or press After if after.
- Lose a heart for each wrong call; you have three. Right calls in a row raise your combo multiplier.
- Get through all ten cards, then share your score or move on to Marathon modes and Special Runs.

Tips
- The year changes from card to card, so read it every time before swiping.
- Founding dates and first releases are often earlier than the moment something became famous.
- Save a heart for the last cards: an early mistake is fine if you slow down afterwards.
