Tftdle is a daily guessing game for Teamfight Tactics that follows the current set. Classic mode gives clues with every guess, and the other modes ask you to name a unit from its ability description, spot the unit missing from a trait, recognise a unit from its best items and name an augment from its effect.
About Tftdle
Tftdle is a daily guessing game for Teamfight Tactics, Riot's auto battler set in the League of Legends world. It follows the current TFT set, so the units, traits, items and augments it asks about are the ones live in the game now. There are five separate daily puzzles, each with one answer that is the same for every player.
Classic mode is the attribute guessing game: you name a unit and each guess is compared with the hidden one on things like its cost, origin and class traits, with the comparison marked so you can close in. The other four modes are recognition puzzles. Ability mode shows a champion's ability description for you to name the unit. Item mode shows a unit's best items and asks which unit they suit. Trait mode has you work out a unit from its traits. Augment mode describes an augment's effect and asks you to name it.
Each mode tracks your result for the day and resets at 06:00 UTC. The game is free to play in the browser and is a fan project rather than an official Riot product.
It suits Teamfight Tactics players who keep up with the current set and know the roster, item builds and augments, and anyone who likes a set of short daily guessing puzzles about one game.
How to play Tftdle
- Open Tftdle and pick a mode: Classic, Ability, Item, Trait or Augment.
- In Classic mode, type a unit and read how each guess compares on its cost, origin and class traits.
- Use the matching and non-matching clues to narrow your next guess until you find the day's unit.
- In Ability, Item, Trait and Augment modes, name the unit or augment from its ability text, its best items, its traits or its effect.
- Come back each day after 06:00 UTC for a fresh answer in every mode.

- Keep up with the current TFT set, since the answers are drawn from whatever is live now.
- In Classic mode, start with a unit whose cost and traits you know to split the roster quickly.
- For Item mode, think about which units those best items are usually built on.
