Telegraph Mini Crossword

The Mini Crossword is The Telegraph's quick daily grid, about five squares across, with a handful of short clues. It is one of the mini games anyone can play free in the Telegraph Puzzles app and on the web, alongside Mini Sudoku, Mini Codewords, Mini Panagram, Mini Cryptic and Mini Cogs.

Each mini is numbered and dated, with a new one every day of the week, and the archive lays them out as cards marked not started, in progress or completed, with a streak marker. You fill the grid with the on-screen keyboard; it takes a couple of minutes.

It suits anyone who wants a short daily crossword, and is a gentle way into The Telegraph's bigger puzzles, the Quick Crossword and the Cryptic, which come with a subscription.
