on playsnap.fit

SNAP.FIT gives you one word grid a day with seven crossing slots to fill. A few slots show their first letter; you choose any accepted word that fits, and each word you snap in fixes letters for the words that cross it. You score on word points and time, with five hints that cost points.
About SNAP.FIT
SNAP.FIT is a free daily word game played in the browser at playsnap.fit. There are no clues. You are given a grid of seven word slots, three or four across and the rest down, each marked with its length. Some slots show a locked first letter for the day, and the rest of the grid is open.
You pick a slot, type a word that fits it and press Enter to snap it in. Any word in the game's broad dictionary is accepted, so there is no single answer to find. The catch is that the slots cross: every letter you place becomes a fixed letter for the word running through that square, so a careless early word can leave a crossing slot with no word that fits. If that happens the game tells you there are no moves left and offers a restart at a cost of 300 points.
Scoring rewards planning. Each word earns points, using a fixed crossover letter earns a bonus, and the clock runs while you play. You have five hints, each costing 75 points, which reveal an unknown square on a path that keeps the rest of the grid solvable, and an undo that costs 150. When you finish, your words stay in the grid until the next day and you can copy a result to share. Playing as a guest is the default; signing in only keeps your streaks, scores and achievements across devices.
It suits players who enjoy fitting words together more than guessing a hidden one: closer to building a small crossword than to Wordle, and finished in about seven to ten minutes.
How to play SNAP.FIT
- Look at today's grid: seven slots, each with its length, some with a locked first letter.
- Pick a slot and type a word that fits its length and any letters already in place.
- Press Enter to snap the word in; its letters become fixed for the slots that cross it.
- Work through the rest of the slots, choosing words that leave the crossing slots solvable.
- Use a hint (minus 75 points) or undo (minus 150) if you are stuck, then share your score when the grid is full.

Tips
- Start with the slot that is most fixed by given letters, since it has the fewest choices.
- Before snapping a word, check the letters it gives each crossing slot: common letters such as E, S and T leave more words open.
- Words that use fixed crossover letters earn a bonus, so build through crossings rather than around them.
- Save hints for the last slots, where one revealed square does the most work.
Questions
Is there a new grid every day?
Yes. Each day has one grid, shown with the date and the same for everyone. The page cycles through six grid shapes, so a shape comes back every six days, usually with different given letters.
When does SNAP.FIT reset?
At midnight on your own device: the page reads the date from your device's clock.
Do the words come with clues?
No. You choose any accepted word that fits the slot's length, its locked first letter and the crossover letters already in place.
What do hints cost?
You have five a day, each costing 75 points. A hint reveals an unknown square and never spends itself on a locked or crossover letter. Undo costs 150 points and a full restart 300.
Do I need an account?
No. Guest play is the default; signing in with Google, Apple or email only saves your streaks, scores and achievements across devices.
Does SNAP.FIT have ads?
No ad scripts or ad slots appear on the game page.
