Slidemoji
Rate itA sliding tile puzzle with a twist: slide the pieces back until the day's emoji appears whole.
on slidemoji.com

Slidemoji is the classic sliding tile puzzle with an emoji as the picture. Each day brings one numbered puzzle where a familiar emoji is cut into tiles and scrambled, and you slide tiles into the empty space until the picture is restored. Solving earns that day's emoji as a trophy.
About Slidemoji
Slidemoji is a small browser puzzle by Nikhil Nathwani. It takes the old fifteen-puzzle idea, tiles in a frame with one gap, and uses a single emoji as the picture to rebuild.
Puzzles are numbered from 4 May 2026 (No. 169 fell on 19 October 2026), and the number comes from the date, so everyone gets the same emoji on the same day. A card above the board shows the finished emoji and its name, such as Kick Scooter, so you know what you are aiming for. The emoji come from a long list that covers animals, food, objects, people and symbols.
A round starts with the emoji scrambled across the grid. You tap a tile next to the empty space to slide it in, and the puzzle ends when every tile is back in place. Normal is a 3x3 board and Hard a 4x4 board, chosen in Settings, where you can also turn the tile numbers on or off, add sound effects or switch to dark mode. Solving earns the day's emoji as a trophy for your Trophy Case, and you can copy a result to share.
Today's puzzle is free and needs no account. Signing in with Google keeps trophies across devices, and the archive of past puzzles is unlocked with a one-time purchase. It suits anyone who wants a quick, wordless puzzle to start the day.

Tips
- Solve the top row first, then the next, and leave the last two rows for the end.
- Turn on Show Numbers if the emoji's colours make tiles hard to tell apart.
- Fix the final corner tiles by cycling three tiles around the gap rather than undoing finished rows.
