Qwiz on an iPhone: question 1 of 10 of the Daily Qwiz, a Food and Drink picture question about a mushroom with four answers

Qwiz is an iPhone and iPad trivia app built around the Daily Qwiz: every player answers the same ten multiple-choice questions, one from each of ten categories, and sees where they rank in the world, their country and their city. Around it sit more than fifteen extra modes, a daily word game called Wordill and a local multiplayer game for up to 100 players.

About Qwiz: Daily Quiz & Trivia

Qwiz is a trivia game for iPhone and iPad by Taiwo Omisore, an independent developer in London. It came to the App Store in 2025 and Apple has featured it in its What We're Playing list.

The heart of it is the Daily Qwiz. Each day brings ten questions, one from each of ten categories such as geography, science, film and TV, music, sport, food and drink and history. Each question shows its category and difficulty, many come with a picture (a flag, a landmark, a logo, a still from a show), and you pick one of four answers. You see straight away whether you were right and, if not, the correct answer. Points add up over the ten questions, and at the end a results screen and a globe leaderboard show where you rank in the world and in your own country.

After the quiz you can go back through every question, and the analytics track your streak on a calendar, your trends and your stronger and weaker categories. An archive lets you replay yesterday's Daily Qwiz for free; going further back is part of Qwiz Pro, the paid tier that also removes the ads.

Beyond the daily there are more than fifteen modes drawn from a bank of over 17,500 questions: an unlimited general knowledge game, Flag Master, Capital Cities, Logo Quiz, True or False, Populations, Blurry Vision, Top 5, Before or After and more, plus Wordill, a five-letter word a day with its own leaderboard. A local multiplayer mode puts up to 100 people in one room on the same questions at the same time, each on their own phone. It suits quiz fans who want one short ranked quiz a day and something to play at a party or a pub night.

How to play Qwiz: Daily Quiz & Trivia

  1. Open Qwiz and start today's Daily Qwiz.
  2. Read the question, its category and difficulty, and look at the picture if it has one.
  3. Tap one of the four answers; Qwiz shows at once whether you were right.
  4. Answer all ten questions to build your score.
  5. See your rank in the world and your country, then review the questions you missed.

Tips

  • The ten questions cover ten categories, so a weak subject costs you one question at most.
  • Use Flag Master, Capital Cities and Logo Quiz to practise the picture questions that turn up in the daily.
  • If you are interrupted, come back later: the Daily Qwiz resumes on the same question.
  • Missed a day? Yesterday's Daily Qwiz can still be played from the archive for free.

Questions

Does everyone get the same questions?

Yes. The Daily Qwiz gives every player the same ten questions, and everyone is ranked on one daily leaderboard, with country and city ranks too.

Can I play past days?

Yesterday's Daily Qwiz is free to replay from the archive. Every earlier day back to the first is unlocked by Qwiz Pro.

Can I play with friends?

Yes. The local multiplayer mode puts up to 100 people on the same questions at the same time, each on their own device.

Is it free?

Yes, it is free to download and the daily is free to play, with ads. Qwiz Pro, a subscription or a one-off lifetime purchase, removes the ads and opens every mode and the full archive.
