Queens Puzzle Game Daily #64 for 21 October 2026: an empty 8x8 board of pastel colour regions with Undo, Hint and Clear below and How to play beside it

Queens Puzzle Game gives everyone the same numbered Queens board each day, made from the date and reset at local midnight. You place one crown in every row, column and colour region with no two touching; the board grows from 7x7 on Mondays to 10x10 on Saturdays. Unlimited boards and an archive of every past daily are there for more.

About Queens Puzzle Game

Queens Puzzle Game is a free browser version of the Star Battle-family puzzle that LinkedIn made popular as Queens. The board is split into colour regions, and you place exactly one crown in every row, every column and every region, with no two crowns touching, not even diagonally.

The Daily tab holds one shared, numbered board. It is generated from the calendar date, so every player gets the same grid, and it turns over at midnight in your own time zone. The first daily went out on 19 August 2026; on 21 October 2026 it was Daily #64, an 8x8. The size follows a weekly rhythm: a gentle 7x7 on Monday, 8x8 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday, 9x9 on Thursday and Friday, and a 10x10 expert board on Saturday. Every board is checked by a solver to have exactly one solution reachable by logic.

Tap a cell once for an X and twice for a crown, a third time to clear it; on a computer you can drag to paint X's or right-click to drop a crown. Auto-X crosses out every cell a new crown rules out. Undo, Hint and Clear sit under the board, a timer runs as you play, a streak counts your solved days, and a finished board can be shared as a result. The Unlimited tab deals fresh boards from 6x6 to 10x10, and the archive keeps every past daily on its own dated page.

There is no login or download. The page keeps two boxes marked Ad beside and below the board. The site also has a strategy guide with seven named techniques. It suits LinkedIn Queens players who want a second daily board, and anyone who likes the difficulty to climb through the week.

How to play Queens Puzzle Game

Tips

  • A region of one or two cells pins its crown down almost at once.
  • A region that lives inside one row or column claims that line for itself.
  • When two regions can only use the same two rows, no other region may use them.
  • Saturday's 10x10 is the hardest board of the week; Monday's 7x7 is a good day to start a streak.
  • Turn on Auto-X in settings so each crown crosses out its row, column and neighbours for you.
