PEGDLE daily round for 21 October 2026: Grand Theft Auto V with its cover, year and platforms, the five PEGI rating buttons, the eight descriptor cards and the daily calendar

PEGDLE shows you one video game a day, with its year, platforms, genres and a short description, and asks for its official PEGI rating and the content descriptors behind it, such as Violence, Fear or In-Game Purchases. You get one submission, scored on the rating and on each descriptor; an endless mode lets you keep practising.

About PEGDLE

PEGDLE is a daily quiz about the Pan European Game Information age rating system. Each day has one fixed game, the same for everyone; on 5 October 2026 it was Bloodborne, and on 21 October Grand Theft Auto V. The round shows the game's title, a short description, its year, platforms, genres and franchise, and you choose one PEGI rating, 3, 7, 12, 16 or 18, plus every content descriptor you think applies: Violence, Bad Language, Fear, Gambling, Sex, Drugs, Discrimination and In-Game Purchases.

You get one submission per round. The game can also show footage of the game, but each second watched costs points, so the more you rely on it, the lower your score. Stats track your total score, exact rating guesses, perfect descriptor rounds and your streak.

The daily game runs from 26 May 2026, and a calendar lets you reopen any past day, though not future ones. Each round also carries a difficulty label, and Endless mode draws at random from the same list of 7,431 games for as many rounds as you like. The site explains the rating system in a guide and presents itself as educational, for players and for parents learning what the labels mean. It is free in the browser.

Scoring rewards the exact rating most, takes points off the further your rating is from the real one, adds points for each descriptor you get right and a bonus for a perfect set. A Copy summary button puts your result on the clipboard to share. The page shows Google ads and a full-screen ad script, and asks for consent to cookies that keep your streak on the device; no account is needed.

How to play PEGDLE

  1. Read the day's game: title, description, year, platforms, genres and franchise.
  2. Pick the PEGI rating you think it has: 3, 7, 12, 16 or 18.
  3. Select every content descriptor you think applies, such as Violence or Fear.
  4. Press Submit answer once; the gameplay video under the game's details is there if you are stuck, but each second watched costs 2 points.
  5. See the official rating and descriptors, then try past days from the calendar or Endless mode.

Tips

  • Genre and franchise say a lot: horror games almost always carry Fear, shooters Violence.
  • Remember In-Game Purchases is a descriptor too, common in free-to-play and recent games.
  • Watch the footage only if you are stuck, since every second costs points.
  • Read the site's guide to learn what each rating level usually allows.
  • A big open-world crime game with online play, such as Grand Theft Auto V, tends to stack descriptors: think of Drugs, Sex, Bad Language and In-Game Purchases as well as Violence.
