Nonogram on Greatest Games is a daily picture-logic puzzle, also known as Picross or Griddlers. The numbers beside each row and above each column give the runs of filled squares in order, and you fill and mark cells until the grid matches and a picture appears. The grid grows through the week, from a quick 5x5 on Monday to a 15x15 on the weekend.
About Nonogram (Greatest Games)
A nonogram starts as a blank grid with numbers along the top and side. Each number is a run of consecutive filled squares in that row or column, in order, with at least one gap between runs: 4 2 means a run of four, a gap, then a run of two. Working from the clues, you decide which squares are filled and which stay empty, and the finished grid shows a picture.
You tap to fill a square, switch to Mark (or long-press or right-click) to cross a square out, and drag to paint a whole run. When a row or column is complete the game crosses out its remaining squares for you, and its clue dims, though a dimmed clue only means the counts match, not that the placement is right. Three hints a day are there if you stall, and Check flags wrong squares. The puzzle completes itself the moment the grid matches the solution.
The size follows the week: a 5x5 on Monday, a 7x7 on Tuesday, an easy and then a hard 10x10 on Wednesday and Thursday, and 15x15 boards from Friday to Sunday, getting harder toward Sunday. Each solve scores 100 points plus bonuses for no wrong squares, no hints and speed, up to 210, and the points count toward the site's leaderboard and a daily streak.
Nonogram is one of the daily games on Greatest Games, a site of word and logic puzzles, and has run since July 2026. A new puzzle goes up every day at midnight US Eastern, the same for everyone, and today's board plays free in the browser with no account or download; the site shows ads. A free account plays the last seven days of the archive, and the paid Greatest Games Plus opens every past day and removes the ads.

- Use overlaps between clues to fill more squares, and drag to paint a whole run at once.
- Keep going until the grid matches every clue and the picture appears.

Tips
- Start with the biggest numbers; long runs in a short line overlap in the middle.
- Mark empties as eagerly as fills; crosses unlock as much as filled squares.
- Remember a dimmed clue is satisfied, not necessarily correct.
- Never guess; every well-made nonogram can be solved by logic alone.
