About Mseto Crossword
Mseto (Swahili for a mix) is Kenya's daily online crossword. Every day brings a new grid, the same for all players, whose clues and answers blend Sheng, Swahili and English with Kenyan places, people and culture.
Each day's free game is a 9 by 9 quick crossword, and every clue carries a small tag saying whether it is in English, Sheng or Sanifu (standard) Swahili. You solve it like any crossword, filling across and down answers from the clues, and you can continue on your phone or computer. The site tracks your progress and your streak, offers three Reveal cell hints, and has a Rankings tab.
Today's crossword is free. Earlier grids can be unlocked in paid packs, such as 20 crosswords for KSh 599, and the makers also publish crossword books for paper solvers.
