Motcha
Rate itOne word a day, one letter at a time: type as many words as you can before the clock runs out.
on tuloss.com

Motcha is a fast daily word game in French, English, Italian and Spanish. The day's word is played one letter at a time: in each timed round you type as many valid words as you can that begin with the active letter. Each word is a point, and your score can go on a world leaderboard with a daily streak.
About Motcha
Motcha builds its daily challenge from a single word. Each language, French, English, Italian or Spanish, gets its own words of the day, renewed at midnight UTC, so everyone playing that language and difficulty meets the same one. The word is shown at the top as a row of letters, and each letter is a round: you type words that start with it until the clock runs out or you press Next letter.
There are three difficulties, each with its own word of the day. Normal plays a short word of three to six letters with 60 seconds a letter and accepts words of two letters or more. Difficile plays a word of six to eight letters with 30 seconds a letter and asks for three letters or more. Ultra plays a word of eight to ten letters with 15 seconds a letter, asks for five letters and wants the accents right. Apostrophes, digits and special characters are refused, and so are repeats and the word of the day itself. The in-game tutorial still gives older timings for Difficile and Ultra; the menu's times are the ones the game uses.
Every valid word is worth one point. At the end the game checks your list against its dictionary, locks the score and lets you share or download a result card. You can publish it to the world leaderboard under a nickname or skip that, and a streak counts the days you play. No account is needed and the page carries no ads.
Motcha suits players who like word sprints such as Scattergories or timed word hunts, and it doubles as vocabulary practice in a second language. The site opens in French; the language menu switches the screens and the word to English, Italian or Spanish.

Tips
- On Normal a two-letter word scores the same as a long one, so go for speed.
- Keep a mental list of easy prefixes such as re-, pre- or con- for common letters.
- On Ultra, check accents before you press Enter; a word without its accent does not count.
- Do not type the word of the day itself: it is refused.
